Today was our potato sales event; we had organic Somerset
-based nursery, ‘Pennard Plants’ in residence at the museum and it was a great success. It was fantastic to see so many people buying seeds and edible plants at the museum and to overhear invaluable advice being dished out all around.
I myself made a few carefully considered purchases to kick-start my newly adopted allotment this year.

Dear Matt I am starting an allotment and wondered which potatoes you thought were the tastiest ones to grow and of those which are the best disease resistant! (You didn’t say in your blog which ones you bought)
